Wildcraft Atelier
A studio space for curious hands, inventive minds, and wildly imaginative hearts.
Wildcraft Atelier is a makers’ studio for creative children who love to build, sculpt, weave, assemble, and design using materials that are tactile, unexpected, and deeply satisfying to work with. In this program, creativity is not confined to the page; it is shaped, stitched, layered, twisted, printed, folded, and formed into something original and meaningful.
Each term, young makers explore a curated selection of artisan-style practices such as sculpting, weaving, jewellery design, textile work, collage, paper craft, printmaking, and mixed-material construction. Real tools, interesting surfaces, and unusual materials, both natural and studio-sourced, are introduced to encourage sensory exploration, creative inventiveness, and hands-on learning.
Rather than following a set template, students are guided to make artistic choices—considering colour, form, pattern, texture, balance, and design intention. They are encouraged to take risks, experiment fearlessly, and create in ways that are expressive and beautiful.
In Wildcraft Atelier, we explore questions like:
What happens when thread meets clay?
How does pattern behave when stitched into paper?
Can a bead tell a story?
How does something ordinary become something meaningful?
This program values disciplined process, focusing on imagination, innovation, and the joy of making. Artists leave with pieces that are not just made, but crafted, thoughtful, inventive, and uniquely their own.
Wildcraft Atelier is not about copying.
It is about discovering, building, testing, and creating things that never existed before. A haven for wild ideas and wonderful things.
Inclusive of all materials and tools (weaving looms, yarn, polymer clay, clay tools, jewellery making supplies and tools, etc.)
Note to Parents:
Studio sessions will begin on time and will finish on time. Please keep this in mind when collecting your child/children. Parents/Guardians are welcome to stay and observe.
